Just a reminder from the OHSAA. State Rules Interpretation Meeting announced.

Re: July Updates: State Rules Interpretation Meeting and Regulation Reminders
The 2023 State Rules Interpretation meeting is set to be launched on Monday, July 24th at 9:00 AM. I will send out another notice when this is officially up and running to serve as a reminder. Coaches will have until August 7th at 11:59 PM to view this meeting before a late fee is assessed. After the late fee is assessed, the meeting will be able to be viewed until August 31st.
As I noted in my June memorandum, there were three regulation changes made for the 2023 OHSAA golf season, which you can see below.
1) The new start date for practice will be Monday, July 31st. This will also serve as the date for which competition is allowed to begin.
2) There is once again a change to non-interscholastic participation for the upcoming season. Student-athletes are still granted three non-interscholastic waivers; however, these waivers will be permitted at any time during the 2023 OHSAA golf season at the discretion of your coaches and administrators.
3) There was an addition to the cell-phone policy which states that green reading devices and applications are not permitted to be used in competition.
As a reminder, the 2023 non-interscholastic waiver request form is now a form you can access using google forms. The link to this is posted on the left side of the golf page on the OHSAA website. I have also taken the liberty of copying and pasting the link to this form here.
