A New Year...April 2nd, 2024

Here we are. A new year, spring is springing. I am sure that you are shoring up your fall schedules with all of the promises that you can muster. 

I want to harken back to why we have this newsletter. Its primary reason is to share information, to inform, share ideas, and to learn from each other. However, the aspect I may have missed was to support each other. 

This is a social media driven world. The generations younger than us, love it, use it in several different ways, in some aspects, dependent on it to provide them their primary source of information. So, in order to support each other, I am asking that if your golf team has a social media account, please send me your "at" @whatever as I am gathering a list of accounts of golf teams from across various media accounts. For example, we do not have an X (formally Twitter) but have a Facebook page, you can find it here, Vinton County Vikings Golf Team. So whatever you got, or have, please send your information to me, I will put it on a spread sheet and share it here, once it is complete, so that we CAN support each other.
